I have four chicks that are 4 weeks old (tomorrow). I read you can identify their sex by their combs. I have 3 that have a single comb, but one that has an obvious 3 row comb. Is the 3 row comb, at this age, mean a rooster? Or does that depend on their breed? They all have a cochin for the dad, but moms could be either delaware, RIR, Easter Egger or barred rock...

The Pea Comb (three row comb) is from the Easter egger mom. It's the breed.
We need more pics to be sure but Ginger and Goldie LOOK like pullets from their combs... can't tell exactly on the other 2

They probably are too young to tell, but here are their pics:) Dad is the LF buff cochin. Mom could be Delaware, Barred Rock, RIR, or one has Easter Egger
