Can i introduce a new rooster?

I have a very nice tempered silkie bantam rooster who doesn't care for a cuddle. i am looking at introducing a pekin rooster but am worried that it will change my silkie's personality. he will attack something once in a while but is calm other wise. what are the chances of him being constantly grumpy by introducing a smaller rooster?
If you have any information/stories i am all ears!

I can only think to say try it and find out. I can almost guarantee there will be a fight at first though.
