can i keep mealworm farm outside

hi im going to be starting a meal worm farm for my chickens and i want to put them in the garage but will anything get them out there or will it bring stuff to my garage can some one give me some tips on raising meal worms. thanks

I tried raising them in my garage. Didn't work because no temp or humidity control. My mom raises them inside the house with none of the problems I had.

Can they get out of the Ben do they bring flies I would love to raise them in said but don’t want them getting out

If you use a deep enough container with slick sides they can't escape. The adult beetles are not that good at climbing and are flightless. You could cover the container with a mesh cover if you are worried about it, but it shouldn't be necessary.

Anyway, the main reasons mine failed is because they stayed too hot and dry, and we kept having mice get into them.
