Can I keep the chicks in a large rabbit cage?

Been reading the replies about the Rabbit Cage for brooding.

I also use one and this is my second set of chicks to have them in a rabbit cage. Really wrks for me and my family and so much easier. Like the fact its so easy to keep clean. When my chicks get older and I am just sitting on the back porch with a good book i take them cage and all right out the door. I have even put them just under the wire part with a heavy object of some sort to sit on top of it so it does not tip over with the wind we get there or the dogs, hawks ect. And wrks out great they love to play in the grass the other chickens get to see them as well.

i even put thier food on the grass for them to learn to forage in the grass.

I took my wire part of my cage and turned it on its side so the door is on the top this way incase the door does come open for some strang reason they can not get out.

Love the idea of the puppy pads will have to try that. Right now i have 6 in my cage and the graduate to going outside tomorrow.

Wow, you all have been so helpful and supportive! Thanks so much! Our 3 little girls seem very happy in the rabbit cage. They are much more active since I moved them in there. They come to the edge of the cage when we talk to them. Awwwww!

Thanks again!
