can I leave rooster with setting broody hen?

I have a Silkie hen that's laying on her 7 Silkie eggs as of yesterday she has a Silkie roo upsest with her cause he is the father should I leave them be or separate him from her and eggs? Plz help

I have a mille fluer d'uccle pair like that, and she just tells the rooster to get lost for a few weeks. If there are other hens, it is probably fine to leave him. She will let him near the chicks eventually as long as he behaves. Good luck with your chicks.
