Can I lock down now???

Tomorrow is day 18, lockdown day. I have to work all day so I was wondering if I could start it tonight? That way I can adjust the humidity and have it just right instead of having it mess up tomorrow while I am gone for 9+ hours.

Ok, I have it all ready..I put in the shelf liner, have a straw ready to put in through the vent hole to add water without opening. Now do I leave the plugs out? Will that be enough oxygen for the babies? I have them in egg cartons, should i leave them in them, just sitting flat?

Or locking down after you get home from work should not hurt either. I have locked down a little late a few times, and it hasn't affected the hatch.

I think I would. That way you have time tonight to work with the humidity.

Doesn't it stink having to work when there's a hatch/lockdown going on!!!

YES but, I have off Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday! So I will be home for it all!
