hi i want to make a incubator with a plastic tub and a heating lamp that you use for chicks will this melt the tub are make a fire

The heating lamp is an OVERKILL. You probably only need a 60 watt regular incandescent bulb. Many peeps make theirs from Styrofoam coolers. Advantage there is, styrofoam insulates. There are other things to consider when making an incubator. Moisture/humidity, and a tiny fan to circulate air inside. Fan evens out the temp throughout the whole incubator. You do need good thermometer of course. You can turn the eggs manually.
Can I suggest watching Youtube ..... Put into search "Homemade Incubators"
WISHING YOU BEST........ :thumbsup

this one needed just 15 watts 5/6 hatched.

thanks every one can i get the heating lamp and just put a 45w light bulb in it will that work
What? How exactly do you plan to make this that you need a heating lamp part?

Have the light sockets in the incubator with a fan blowing over them. A heating lamp with the shield will cause bad temperature hot and cold spots, IMO.
