Right!? She’s not though! Her momma is a white Jersey giant. I forgot the exact words but we think the momma had a specific gene allowing the barring to be dominant. She looked like a stripey quail as a chick. She’s also got a different comb, waddles and earlobes then my 2 pures. She’s really interesting

White Jersey Giants as far as I know are Recessive White on Extended Black, so she should've been solid black not Transverse Pencilled.
Transverse Penciling is made by a combination of genes: Birchen, Dark Brown(Db), & the Pattern Gene which is also responsible for making laced patterns.

Can you do Goldie my buff Orpington? She is just a weird chicken but she really enjoys standing in water. It was 70 degrees and raining and saw her jump into the water and just sit there for 5+ minutes. Can you paint my duck pancake? I also love, painting, specifically birds, especially my birds, and I’ve been having trouble trying to paint pancake, so I’d like to see if you could do it. here’s a picture of one of my paintings and some pictures of my duck.


Breed is call duck, her favorite thing is probably canned corn, and personality is loud mad and sweet all at the same time…not really sure how that’s possible but she seems to pull it off.

She is so precious! Brings me back to when my SS was a chick!
