Can I post a story here?

I was wanting to know if I can post a story here. Well, not really a story, a book I'm writing. I have to start all over again after my dad deleted a whole eight pages! I'm so mad at him! I'm not copying anyone here, I don't think there has ever been a story like this one before. It's not about horses, it's not about chickens either. Chicklover98, Wooing Wyandote, don't worry, I'm not trying to copy your stories. I just want opinions to help me with my book because, if I finish it, I may actually publish it and I want it to be something people will read. Thanks!
