CAN I PRODUCE EXTREMELY SHORT LEGS USING THIS PAIR OF NOT EXTREMELY SHORT LEGS BANTAMS?

Extra short legs aren't a good thing in poultry as a rule. Why not concentrate on another trait. For info on the effects of extra short legs in poultry, read the history of Scots Dumpy and Dorking chickens.

For whatever reason, the short legged genes in Ohiki are not lethal when two short legged are bred together.....ohiki breeders including myself have been doing this for years.................................chrisf

Then they don't have the extreme short legs of the chabo, japanese bantam

Ohiki don't carry the Creeper Gene and there legs are no where as short as a good Japanese Bantam.

If the creeper gene gets lost in the japanese bantams they still have quite short legs for a chicken. Else you wouldn't get the extreme short legs.

This was rather rude. I think the OP was meerly trying to understand the meaning of "creeper gene" & was asking if it was carried by his birds. I myself was confused by the comment so can see where the OP would be as well.
