Can I put one day old chicks with 3 week old chicks

Hell everyone,

I currently have 1 week old Rhode Island Reds and in two week I wanted to add a Plymouth Rock to the group. Will this work? Is it a good idea?

Asking for trouble. Not only will there be a huge size difference but they have already started establishing their flock and RIR can be vicious.

What about adding a couple of day olds tomorrow. The RIR will be 1 week and one day.

that may work but be prepared to separate them if something happens.
