Hay can harbor mites in it, pine shavings are probably the best way to go, you can get them at any pet store.

Most people DO not eat bantams, in fact keeping chickens in a fish tank is just cruel. better they go to someone with a chicken run and chicken coopI am not talking about meat production i just want to eat them instead of doing a 1 hour car ride to drop them to a guy that will probable eat them anyway...And they have plenty of space for now but when they get little bigger i will get them out and i change the bed everyday so i think its little harsh of you to say i cant take care of them.I know they are bantam but i just want to do something myself in this creepy city.
Maybe you do not understand what people are saying NO ONE EATS THEM. and they do not have the proper care needed.What you mean i dont understand they had all the care they need since i have them...and if i get them a new home they will get eat anyway![]()
