Also I'm sorry for being so impatient, I am relatively new to this site, and was very freaked out and frantic. Once I realized the sand was sticking too her I put her on some towels. The room she is in is warm. I got her to drink some water, and she is breathing better. I did not notice any eye injuries, so I'm thinking in either sealed shut by blood or she is just closing them due to stress.

This picture makes me think that something chewed her up and damaged her throat badly. Can you clean this area up so to inspect and asses the damage?

Did the water actually pass her throat or did it maybe come out of the wound running down her front?

By clean do you mean trim the feathers? I ran it under warm water for awhile, so I'm waiting for the feathers around it to dry off

the flash makes it look worse than it is. Her feathers are still wet, and I dont know if it's from blood or water still.

Yes, she is breathing mainly out of her mouth, and she is making alot more effort to breath
