My two years old chicken looks sick today. I have been treating her for scaly leg for weeks now. She eventually got better. I cleaned the coop twice with diatomaceous earth because the mites did not want to die. She seems to have not completed the change of the feathers also.

First,, White poop is not as bad as green poop, So there is a better chance hen will survive.
This is also FYI for further mite treatments.
Scaly leg mites are well treated with Vaseline. I personally used Margarine, or Crisco,, Works equivalently, and is eatable if chicken decides to peck on it. BTW,, Vaseline is not toxic.
Diatomaceous Earth is something that should be used with Caution/care. For you and chickens. It is not good if it gets into your, or chickens lungs.
For cleaning/sanitizing, your coop,, as well as killing mites,, Full strength laundry bleach works well. Then let coop dry, and air out before allowing chickens back in.
If infestation is heavy duty, then repeat.

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :highfive:
