Can I Trim my Turkeys Beak

My Tom has one beak that is overgrown to some degree maybe a 1/4" over or less. It is very thin there but I just was not sure. It is the top beak that is overgrown. Ideas are welcome. Terri

Yes, you can trim the beak if it is too long. Human nail clippers are what I use for trimming my chicken's beaks. It may be helpful for somebody else to hold the turkey or its head still. Then you can use the clippers to clip away at the extra growth until it looks normal.
