Can I use this as a Budgie Breeder cage ?

i would think so.

birds do fine with cold as long as they are protected from drafts so make sure they have a draft free place to retreat too

You may want to REALLY clean that big cage before you put them in it since you've had birds die in it before. Just a thought. And no harsh chemicals for the cleaning either because birds, especially small ones, are sensitive to the chemicals in cleaning products.

Oh ! hahaha wrong cage. The big cage has birds in it, a cockateil and 2 button quials. The cockateil will probably move into the small cage

Hold on, I was thinking. Do I have to take the cockateil out ?? do You think they will get along. The cockateil didnt attack the buttons when I added them.

You can try introducing them to one another and see how they do, Budgies might gang up on your tiel though so watch closely for signs of injury or feather damage. Those little birds sure do have alot of spunk. Once they pair off and start breeding they may get territorial towards the cockatiel also which is something to watch for.
