can i use to developer feed now?

my chicks are 1month old now and they are on 20% protein chick starter. they live with a gosling and the gosling was supposed to start 16% chick feed last week so i wondering if the chicks are able to start eating it to?
how much protein does developer feed have? if the chicks should still stay on the chick feed could if i put a bit of developer feed in a feeder on the floor for the goose and chicks and the chick starter up high were only the chicks could get it?

I have fed all my brids layer feed since two weeks old and they all seem to be doing just fine....
