My two Silkies are getting a bit dirty and i was wondering if they can be given baths?
Regular old shampoo?
Specific?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I gave my chickens baths for showing just make sure you use soap that doesn't burn and rinse them well with not cold water but not hot after cause the soap can get trapped under the feathers and hurt them. Enjoying giving your chickens a bath.

I wash my chickens all the time. For especially soiled feathers I like to soak them in Mr. Bubble a children's bubble bath, only use just a tiny bit. Then have a tub of clear water for rinsing. Then pat dry with towels and blow dry.

Nice, clean, fluffy results.
