can mods/admins read pm's?

Fantastic question. One that has been asked before, but I don't mind answering again:

Mods do not have any access to PMs.

As the administrator I have access to all the data on the forum, but by matter of principle and privacy do NOT read PMs. There are extreme cases where I've been forced to review specific PM's because of reports of harassment, SPAM, etc. but try to avoid having to do so.

Usually we rely on members to simply copy/paste any problems in PM and send to a moderator via email or pm.

No, we cannot read PM's. Personally I wouldn't want to read other people's messages. I have too many of my own to plow through.

Wow...glad to hear the answer is no. I never considered that invasion of privacy. Eeep!

(Nothing to hide, but I don't think anyone has the right to know my private correspondance without my consent. JMO)
