Can my chickens get sick from other chickens' compost?

We just started a vegetable garden and had to purchase chicken manure from the feed store as a fertilizer since my chicken poop compost wasn't ready. Can my chickens get sick from the chicken manure used from other chickens while digging around in my garden? Thanks!

If its composted it should be fine. You do NOT have to use chicken manure(you said "had to purchase"). I would not want chickens in my started garden, but maybe you have nothing planted yet.
