Mine like them a lot...
I live in the woods so ew have a lot of them, but the chooks are confined to a covered run... so crawling critters are a treat when they can get to them...
as are hopping critters .... recently had a couple frogs zig when they should have zagged as a walked by, and they only lasted about half a hop
