Can my Muscovy eat spinach

Spinach has a ton of calcium in it (99 mg per 100 grams spinach). None (Edit: it should say most because we actually get more of the calcium in spinach than we do milk) of that calcium is nutritionally available. That oxalic acid doesn’t cancel out the calcium in something like the mozzarella in a lasagna. The effect of the oxalic acid only extends to the spinach itself, not your diet in general.

Although, because spinach is rich in iron it shouldn’t be consumed within a certain amount of time of calcium. Calcium and iron cancel each other out.

Interesting. This may be another case of something that has been misinterpreted and repeated as gospel :p
A quick Google search came up with this article

Which is saying exactly what your saying.

so, basically it's kinda like how they said we were all going to die if we ate, butter, eggs, coffee, etc........... and now they are all ok and you should eat all of them? You just don't know who to believe these days!

You know, I used to listen to all that and tried to do the right thing but now that I'm pushing 70 I just don't give a rip anymore. I'll eat what I like when I want, and if I live fine and if I don't fine. You live till you die! Remember, "you're here for a good time, not a long time!"
