Bought her from auction with some other pullets. She stayed huddled to herself so I put her under the heat lamp. The first day her eyes weren't open. After being under lamp her eyes opened although they look kind of swollen. She resemble a vulture more than a chicken. lol She isn't eating much, when I put her outside she will pick a little then eventually just bunches up again. I haven't seen her drink water, but I have used an eyedropper to give her some. She didn't like that, rubbed her beak on ground. lol
My local chicken vet wants 95 dollars just to see her. That's not an option. She is thin, I can feel her breastbone sticking out.
Any and all information will be appreciated.
Thanks

dont know much but it sounds like maybe some kind of sickness more than blindness. You should probably seperate her from the other chickens and do more research. Hope she feels better!

turned out she was just all scratched up from being in the pen with the other girls at the auction. A littly babying for a few days and now she is good as new!!
