can my silkies come off heat now ?

hey, my silkies are 8 weeks old 2day can thay come off heat now ?

with out that info i am going to take a shot in the dark here and say no...but i dont follow the rules anyway

what i do is
slowly raise the lamp so that they get less and less direct heat, when i notice that they no longer huddle under the lamp i will then remove the lamp
i have had some that had the heat till they were 16 weeks, I had some that were not interested in the heat after 10 weeks...
I let them tell me what they need
