Yeah, I refuse to get any ducks that can fly, and I've had plenty of pekins (two at the moment)

My Pekin duck caught air on a really windy day. It was more like look at me I can fly.

The landing was terrible but oh so funny.

I just remember it being a really windy day and looked up to see him flying through the yard. He was making all kinds of noise while he was in air and his wings were just a flapping. I swear I could see the smile on his face while he was in the air. I think the others were jealous! I laughed for quite a while.

Mine occasionally try to fly because they can see the chickens in their coop fluttering away (they like to roost on the fence line). So they flap their wings and run around in circles but that's about it.

mine can barely fly 2 to 3 feet. It is more like a jump with wings flapping

yeah, they sure can jump, but they can't fly. They mostly jump and balance themselves with there wings.
