Can powdered tylosin tartrate ("Tylan soluble ") be purchased without prescription?

Checking internet sources and it seems a prescription is needed for the original (not generic) product. Am I missing something?

Would it be illegal to purchase some unexpired powdered Tylan Soluble from an individual who has an excess supply? Just wondering. Thanks.

My feed store sells Tylan Powder, but I see it's a prescriptions item from Valley Vet.
