Can Quail Eat Coconut?

So recently, I have been using coconut husk as a substrate to house my single golden quail. (I am getting her a friend in a couple of months, don't worry,) I know that that is okay, but what about the meat? Can she eat the meat? I've heard it has some essential oils and improve egg quality, but I want to know the absolute truth. Thanks in advance.

Hi I feed my chickens coconut all the time, the white pulp left overs after we make coconut oil or just cut them in half, chickens gut them.
I tried feeding them to the quail, they don't seem to be too interested. A few pecks and nibbels that's it. But I never lost a chicken or quail because of the coconut.
