can quails eat red chili peppers?

the one i have at home is very spicy and its from Vietnam
i have seen from here that you can feed flakes but can you feed a regular one?

Won't hurt them at all, they may not eat them? ...but if they do, then you won't have to season them with pepper! 😉
 
I assume they can eat chili peppers without issue - I would just avoid the stems and leaves of the pepper plant, as they're poisonous. Tomatoes, potatoes, and peppers are all in the Solanum family, which are related to deadly nightshade. Most new world Solanum plants have safe fruits or roots, but leaves and stems should not be eaten.

But peppers literally evolved to be spicy to mammals and not birds, who don't have capsaicin receptors. Mine happily eat bell peppers - including seeds - and if they can't taste spiciness I don't see what the danger would be.
