Can Rabbits Dig Out?

If you keep the cage in the same place she will dig out but if you move it daily she won't

What i did was bury a sheet of chicken wire about 3 feet down, so they can dig for roots, but not escape

Chicken wire that is in contact with soil will rust out in a matter of months - I suggest a more durable material should be used.

It will be moved probably every few days or weekly. I've already got the welded wire on the bottom. I just need to finish the shelter and attach it.

You may want to have a hutch above the ground for at night. Even if the rabbit cant get out, something else could get in if the permanent hutch is on the ground, or the rabbit could get worms through the floor.
