Can raccoons open these?

Hello, we have three different entrances to our coop. We use these caribiners on them all. One door has six hinges alone with caribiners on each hinge. The others have multiple as well. Has anyone had experience with raccoons figuring these out? I also included a picture of what I am talking about on our coop, it just shows one but picture that in multiples on each entrance. Thanks

Chanced are slim...regular snap clips are a piece of cake for a raccoon...they are very dexterious with their hands, and have incredible intelligence & memory skills.... I personally use small matching padlocks keyed alike...set of 3 @ harbor freight $5.....(if you leave the key in, they will open the lock😂) Been around raccoons over 30 years in a NWF habitat with chickens...now in bulletproof pens......

Thanks for sharing? Do you have a picture of your locks or coop?

I use carbiners on my coon's cages with no problems. They have never opened the first one

You have coons in cages?? I'm very familiar with them in both rescue & pets from years back... They will play with any locking mechanism forever just from curiosity, especially if its shiney...😂. Had quite a few snap clips opened in my younger years...😃...breaking out, not in😂😂😂
