Can Roos Egg Squat????

I would say that is defiantly a roo. If your other roo is bigger and is king of the coop then I would say he has learned to be submissive. He probably was just letting you be boss, I guess you could say.

Ms.FuzzyButts :

It happens. We had an EE hen that was so sweet! We named her Pretty Girl.. But, she got bigger and started crowing. She is now known as Pretty Earl. LOL

Thats funny!! I had an EE that was supposed to be a hen and turned out to be Rooster... his name is Pretty Boy! He's very friendly and a pretty Rooster.

luvmychickas's EE though is hard to pick. I would think he/she is a rooster with those saddle feathers, but it's comb looks more like my EE hen's than my EE Rooster. I've don't think I've ever had one of my Roosters do the squat either... hmmmm

I wanna know too! This is really an interesting thread.

It looks like a rooster- those are definitely saddle feathers, but it squats and has a hen comb.
I've never heard of a hen with saddle feathers, but I've never heard of a rooster doing the squat.
Hmmm....
We need an update!

where is the comb?! it looks like a roo with the hackle feathers, but no comb. this is very interesting. i think you have a very manly hen, a verry effeminate roo, or a transgendered henster.
my mothers aunt had a chicken with a comb that that tryed to crow, but not really, and layed eggs sometimes. so it must have been a girl, just a very manly girl.it happens. its name was fred.
i think you have a fred.

My thoughts too. Very interesting.

That's a roo, without a doubt.
My roo will squat if I press firmly on his back. It's a submission thing.
