Can roundworm cause respiratory problems?

Hey there, I am so worried about my girls. Just treated them with Piperazine for roundworm..... Waiting a week to hit the parasites with Amprol.
NOW one of my girls seems to be breathing irregularly and all of a sudden has very red legs... Looks like serious wind burn.... Piperazine side effect????
No idea what I'm doing here!! Thank you for any help you can offer me

According to Plumb's Veterinary Drug Handbook an overdose can cause this in cats and dogs:

Amprol is not a de-wormer!

I don't know what the instructions say, but that doesn't sound like too much, so I doubt you have given them too much.
