And I LOVE the Greek mythology names! We have a Legbar call Hera because of her puffy 'diadem' and I used to have a leghorn called Phoebe (epithet of Artemis meaning 'Shining')

PS @ColtHandorf what do you feed them? I'm feeding layers mash now but would I have to witch? I've a lot to get through still

*Sigh* They make me crazy when it comes to feeding. They are on a layer crumble. Strangely enough the layer pellets have been small the last two times I've gotten feed so they've gotten some of that too. I just hate how much feed they waste. It makes me crazy. That's one of the many reasons I want them on the ground so they can clean up their messes.

The roommate was torn on what to name them so I suggested Greek Mythology. Which will at least be appropriate once they are in breeding flocks...lol I don't love Cupid and Psyche, but alas. There's always more chicks to name. :)

@ColtHandorf what would u call Hera feather pattern I love 💕 it

Literally no idea. @Amer could probably tell us. Seramas are a bit of a genetic mystery. I don't get many duplicates when I'm incubating their eggs. Barring is fairly consistent. But the Crele pair through Silver-laced girls. And one of those pairs is throwing White and SIlver chicks. Everyone wants me to duplicate Hera and Zeus though. lol I did a good job picking that pair out. And they throw Micros... :)

😂

I *hate* having them indoors during the winter. There is feed everywhere on the floor. At least in the cages outside the other birds could eat it. Inside it's just an invitation for mice.
