Can/should I help more?

Do you have a better picture and did you moisten the membrane with anything when you started to assist originally?
Yes. I moistened it with some coconut oil. It hasn’t progressed at all in 3 hours. The other one is unzipping and has progressed quite a bit.
This was the one I thought would hatch first because it was the first to pip. It really looks stuck.

I agree with @HollowOfWisps
Babies can take 48 hours after external pip and 72 if they hit the wrong end away from the air cell
When you say this far along
What do you mean. What all did baby do ? You helped it so it’s hard for us to know what baby did
I just had 10 eggs hatch over 3 days
3 of the eggs were set 12 hours before the rest
But mom sat on all of them for a week first
There can be cold and warm spots in the bator that also Cause them to hatch at different times
Day 28 is just a due date but not a has to hatch that day
Just like us humans we can be off
Some babies come fast others take longer
It had externally pipped and I helped by removing a bit of the shell and moistening after 30 or so hours. That was about 4 hours ago. It’s peeping but hasn’t moved at all since then.

It’s a little hard to tell, but are those active veins? It looks like it. It does not look shrink wrapped, but if those are indeed veins/blood it still need more time.

Here are better photos and a video. I certainly don’t want to act prematurely, but at the same time would like to help if it’s in distress.

Is that blood veins above its head I see ?
If a baby is zipping around the egg like it should it probably doesn’t need help
The only time I find they need help is if they make a huge hole in one spot instead of going around the egg
Or if they zip to the end instead of around
I’m thinking baby started it’s zip but wasn’t ready ti fully hatch yet
Many times my first to external pip is not my first ti hatch
Sometimes air cells can very a bit and a baby with a bit smaller air cell will have to external quicker running out of air where one with a bit bigger air cell doesn’t need to external as fast
Just an example
I had an egg just summer that had a crack ( pin hole ) in the egg
I didn’t even notice it when I put them in till after week one when I went to mark air cells and it’s was double the rest
I put wax on it but even still it grew more then the other eggs
So at hatch time that baby had a huge air cell
It external pip and zip to hatch was 8 hours. I saw it external then went to check on everyone 8 hours later and baby was zipping out
This baby was probably in its air cell for a really long time it had plenty of air

It didn’t zip at all- I removed the shell from
It’s pip after 30 hours and then put it back in the incubator. I see it’s mouth moving open and close but it hasn’t moved side to side at all.

Thanks for all you help! I’m pretty new at this.
It seems like it’s head is facing towards me, head against the top of the egg. Is that the right position? I can tell from when it’s bill opens and closes.

I think you started to help too soon.

At this point there isn't much you can do but wait. If I were you I would leave it alone and give it more time on its own.

Ok! Thanks! There’s no blood, luckily, so my fingers are crossed. I will leave it and check in a few hours. At what point would you recommend helping more?
