Can someone give me some advice on sour crop?

Kristin,
You know I will gladly come up and help you also. I don't know what kind of computers you two have but mine is a laptop so we could have it and the how-to posting up to follow along with if you decide to do the surgery. My screen is cracked (thanks to the kids) but you can see things clearly.
On another note the youngest roo that I have we think he is around 2 months old. That is the smoky frizzle roo. He is just getting to the age where they start to try to crow. You know when it sounds like someone is choking a chicken. Always makes me laugh at this stage. And you don't have to pay me for him. I have way too many roosters and would just be glad for him to have a good home.
I am so bummed that I missed you being online. I had to go over to my in-laws for a little this evening, otherwise I would have been on sooner.

How far are you from Rutz? May be I could stop by and take a look at her tomorro. We were going to leave the house here around 11am. Let me know what you want me to do. The livestock doesn't go up for auction till around 5pm so I will have some time if you want. I'll leave it up to you.

Update: Tonight I got A LOT of the liquid out of her crop! I had a 3 people helping this time. We put the tube down her crop and sucked up A LOT of stuff. She is so thin, I hope this helps. Crossing my fingers and saying a prayer that she is totally emptied out by tomorrow and can get back to normal. I was so happy to get all of that junk out! I don't know if this was the culprit but she had a glob of tomato skin come up. It wasn't big, but I was surprised to see it. The liquid looks like ground up crumbles. Another thing, after we did this...she was more of a live wire. Before she never really fought me in any way. After we got that junk out, I don't know if I could have got that tube down again because she was going bazerk! My neighbor who was helping said she even saw a spark in her eyes that wasn't there when she first came over. So, time will tell. Will try this again tomorrow and see what happens!

Mollie, I am about 50 minutes from Rutz according to Mapquest. It's been a long while since I was there. I don't know what to do about the surgery now. You saw that a lot of the stuff came out! I was so excited!! I will wait and see what she's like till morning. This is the most progress that I have had so far! Before we attempted to suction the stuff out I took warm baking soda water and put it down in her crop and massaged and massaged it! Grass and everything came out! So we will see. That piece of tomato was a shock to me!! If she's not better by tomorrow, I'm going to have to do something drastic, as she's not getting any nutrition and seems to be wasting away. She is eating and drinking, though...just not digesting it I'd imagine.

My Roos are about 17-18 weeks. How would I introduce a frizzle? I really would like one though. What do you do to get them acclimated? I would hate for them to not get along!!

I had a hen with an impacted crop.
She had surgery, and then we treated her for yeast and gram negative bacteria in the crop with 2 different antibiotics.
A vet examined the liquid from the crop under a microscope and weighed the hen and prescribed the appropriate antibiotics.
I also had to use baby parrot/handfeeding formula that I got at the pet store and syringe feed our hen for a time.
She did pull through, but you may need to do some of the things I did in order to save your hen.

Well I did see about all the stuff coming out. That is super!!! You might want to try the exact same thing again in the morning if she is not better. Atleast I would especially if you had those results this time.
As far as the roo goes, well maybe we ought to go this way, About how tall are they? May be I could match their height with one of mine. That way at least they would not be picking on "the little guy". I think the best way to have them not fight would be to have them about the same size. I would also have the new Roo in a cage or crate where they can see eachother for a few days and get accustomed to eachother. Then I would introduce the new Roo at night time when everyone is already settled. Less chances for a scuffle.

Ladies, I noticed that your hens have been sick for 4 days. If you do not have the resources of a veterinarian, the humane society or animal shelter in your area may have a vet who would help your hens at low/no charge. They are there to prevent animal suffering and it sounds like after 4 days, your hens may be suffering.
