its the stuff on the sculptureFor clarity...is the object on the decor piece or the glass? I saw the photo I as this mass extending from the decor into the water.
Angels lay on flat surfaces...I've had them spawn on the tank glass, the tube of a filter or heater, broad plant leaves such as a sword plant, rocks.....anywhere they can get eggs to stick. The eggs are individual eggs affixed to the surface as though glued...deposited in a series of rows.
What type of snails dfo you have? Common snails create a jelly capsule full of eggs stuck anywhere they can stick them. Trumpet snails "birth" tiny trumpet snails, mystery snails create cocoons above the water line.....these are just examples of the various ways different snails reproduce(have had all three of these occur in my own tanks)
