Can someone help me understand this?? I live in Southaven, MS.

So I was looking up my rooster laws here and I can't find anything. This is all I stumbled across, and it sounds to me like I can't have any chickens. But then something about 250ft away from the building? I'm confused.

If I’m understanding correctly, if you’re not zoned agricultural, you technically can have chickens or other livestock if you are able to somehow keep them 250 feet away from any residences, including your own. Including within the space of their run or whatever you’re containing them in. Which means also no free ranging unless you can somehow keep them 250 feet away from any residence while doing so...
Your noise ordinances may be more pertinent if they don’t have specific rooster laws.
