Ameraucanas have slate (blue) legs.

Interesting, because the chicks I have also have green legs so right now I can probably tell you that they will be EE too. So how is it that people sell easter eggers as Ameraucanas.

Hatcheries pretty much use the terms “Easter egger”, “americana”, and “ameraucana” interchangeably. People them breed those chicks, thinking they’re actually Easter eggers, and sell them as ameraucanas.
