Can someone help?

So I went to collect some silkies a month or so ago and the lady gave me what she called 2 bantam warren hens.
I new there and then that the one was a cockerel but my husband and I aren’t entirely sure what breed he is. Can anyone help?

Doesn't look like any pure breed I've heard of. Certainly not a Buff Orpington.

Can you post some more pictures of the bird in question in natural lighting and standing?
Coloring is similar to a commercial Red Sex Link hen.

I thought it looked like a red sexlink too, but they don't commercially come in bantam I don't think. Although, that doesn't stop someone from making their own with their own bantams, it's a white over a red, right?

I say that's a hen. A red sexlink hen, an older one to be sporting that large of a comb. Doesn't have a typical rooster tail or saddle feathers at all, nor the typical upright carriage. Unless they're supposed to be pretty young, I don't think that's a male at all.

I'd say either some hatchery is selling bantam red sexlinks or the lady bred them herself, which is entirely possible. Or it's some other mix that just really resembles the coloration of one, also possible.
