Can someone please help me identify the breed? I'm still new at this

It looks like a bantam .... It reminds me of an araucana but the face is a bit different it could be an araucana cross ? How big is it compared to a red shaver or other hen?

I just googled red shaver hens and I would definitely say she is significantly smaller. If you see some of the earlier pics I posted of Murgi (my first black sex link hen), she is still quite small compared to her. And the hen is a she right?

Could be an Australorp roo as it looks like it isn't fully grown ( but nearly fully grown) but since you don't know the age there is a chance it could be a hen as at the moment looks like one ..... Not Certain though

I thought it was definitely a hen because my rooster (Zuzu) tried mating with her multiple times

Hearing that means its fully grown and a bantam Australorp hen then :)
Enjoy her she sounds lucky to of been found by you take care :)

That is her fully grown size? I can see my rooster squishing her flat. I will have to be extra careful with her around Zuzu.
That's pretty unique. A Bantam Australop. Thank you. I'm glad I can make her a part of the flock :)

She is bantam, not sure of breed. The reason she doesn't have a pointy beak is likely because she ground it down on concrete or rock. Maybe someone put food for her to eat on a concrete slab or something? This can make it ground down. Someone could of also filed it down.

O and a little tip i thought I would share with you. I have had some birds that are hard to put weight on. If you want to get a little weight on your new ones- get some chick starter and mix it with a little canola oil, make kind of a mush. Then make some plain oatmeal and mix it together.Looks gross, but they love it. I would only give it to them 2 time a week.

I think there is a slight confusion here. I was talking about my red sex links not having pointy beaks. The Bantam definitely has a sharp beak. It pecked at my nose. Theirs is blunt and I saw that their food was put in bowls in mud. So I'm not sure if that was part of the molting or not. Filed it down? Really people do that? Isn't that cruel and doesn't it hurt the poor hen? I will definitely try the porridge mix with the Popcorn and Sunset. I also gave Popcorn and Sunset scrambled eggs this morning. They really seemed to enjoy that as a substitute protein. I plan to give them this 1-2 times a week.

With the Bantam (Nylah), I'm having some feeding issues. I gave her layer mix she doesn't seem to eat it. I gave her canary mix because that's what my quails eat and the grains are much smaller because I thought the issues were large grains. Nylah didn't really touch that. I gave her bread. She didn't eat that. I gave her rice grains. She didn't eat that. I'm about to try boiled rice. Is she not eating because of her new home? Or should I try something else?

Any help is appreciated :)
