Hmm. I would not expect that to cause problems. Probably doesn't get hot enough to burn, doesn't pinch the spurs (and thus the nerves inside), you already said there was no bleeding...

Can you check the label of your vitamins to see if they contain riboflavin (vitamin B2?) If not I would get human super B complex vitamin tablets and give 1/2 tablet daily. Riboflavin deficiency can cause sitting on the hocks, and curled under toes. Sometimes that could also be a sign of Mareks disease. Try feeding a balanced chicken feed as 90% of his diet. Try wetting a small amount.

By treats you mean worms? I usually give them daily, I ran out of them so it’s been maybe about a week or two I haven’t feed them treats.

Treats includes the veggies as well.

Riboflavin dosage is too tiny in amount. 7mg is barely anything. I'd up it to 400mg.
