Can someone please help me?

I went outside to check on our hens today and noticed 3 babies in the nest box with a moma. She has had several new chicks die this week. It has just had a horrible rainstorm outside and the babies are wet. I brought them inside and under and heat lamp. One is not as active as the other 2. It has a big butt its stil real naked and something red is sticking out maybe a centimeter out of its butt. What could this be??

It may be some of the unabsorbed yolk, or it may just be some of the umbilical cord. It should dry up and be ok. It may just take a little time.
