Yes, they all turned on her once they figured out she couldn't peck and pecked her almost to death just all of a sudden one day. When I arrived home from work they had pecked her into a bloody mess. We nursed her back to health in a large dog crate in our garage and tried to reintroduce her to the flock but they immediately started pecking her again, therefore my husband built an identical coop and placed it on the opposite end of the run and we found a younger flock mate and they love each other. She does REALLY well eating, we feed her in a deep dish and she scoops her food up; she also drinks out of a deep dish. She does love "mash" which is crumbles mixed with warm water, crushed egg shells and baby food.
