She may be the only one who has this cross, or is trying to make a cross, but for such a rare bird, it’s still a cross.

I breed BJG's. That's almost identical to what mine look like.

Yours is older than the one in my pic. The combs form faster on the males as well. Dark feet and legs too.
Your might be a mix as well because of the lighter under belly.. but a cockerel for sure.

Mine have dark combs and the legs on mine are a bit darker.

Roger that. I believe both of your birds are barnyard mixes. Which there is absolutely nothing negative at all. That is what makes mixes unique.
I breed these..

We call them Sunflowers. 3rd generation X's. They sell out as soon as they are a week old.
People cross breed all the time. Custom mixes, colors-penciling. I have a cross breed that looks like a red sex link that lays olive color Easter eggs.
My crosses sell faster that my full breeds because people want something different than what their neighbors have.
