Can someone tell me what she is please?

We bought these 2 ducks from our local farm supply store last spring. Can anyone tell me what the brown one is? I was thinking a Pekin/Rouen cross.

WOW really? Okay, I never have claimed to know a thing about ducks! LOL...

My husband wants more ducks and I was thinking about Snowy Mallards. I think they are beautiful, but have not been able to find any nearby.

I have it figured that she is around 18-20 weeks old and so is my male Pekin. When do ducks start laying?

I was going to say Khaki Campbell, too...she should start laying anytime, I think. They are GREAT layers!!

Khakis are great! Mine have such funny personalities...they're the most fun to watch in my flock. Always doing something crazy whether it's climbing up on my bulkhead and pecking at the window to say "hello" or chasing the chickadees that come in our yard. The best thing is that they are known for being great layers.

Mine are about 15 weeks old and should start laying soon I've heard. Enjoy your Pekin and Khaki!
