can someone tell me what this is?

think it may be frostbite from this winter. Light went out for a day when wind chill was -30. Thought it was mud but its not. Dry and brittle feeling. Anything i can do now? Or will it just always be this way? Thought maybe fungus but other hen with smaller comb doesnt show and both act fine and healthy.

Looks like frostbite & not that bad. You should see my roos from -40. I put castor oil on my roos' combs after the tips came off. Helped heal them up.

It's not really bad frost bite. The dry skin will peel and the comb will heal on its own. Castor oil or aloe may help a some, but it not really necessary.
