I found a dying squirrel in my driveway, and put her in a box on the screened porch. After she passed, I sealed her in a baggie and disposed of her. When I started thinking about it, I was concerned that perhaps some of her critters could still be in the box or left it to roam - it's within 15 feet of my chicken coop in the same porch. Since the temperatures are below freezing, I thought maybe not. My girls have never had pests, so I have never treated them. Should I treat them as a precaution? Or do those squirrel critters only like squirrels and other rodents?
