Can stress kill chickens

That's what I was thinking, but trying to convince my dad of that is impossible he's just stuck on the dog didn't do it this time. I live next door to him. He's trying hard to keep dog put up but he keeps getting out. But he was out this morning that's what woke me up. Ugh it's so sad my baby loved watching her chicks
Four dead from heart attacks? Not likely.

As suggested earlier, check each bird for wounds, swelling, and bruising. Also check your coop and pen for places that a predator can get in. Did you know that a raccoon can squeeze through a 4" x 4" hole?

Sorry for your losses. :hugs.

Some predators are very small. Mink, weasels, even owls can get in at night through a very small opening. The dog could have been barking at something besides the chickens.

?....Highly likely...Happens if scared...anyways....I can't use electric fence...I have working Dogs that patrol my property...
Yeah, I think not. Had plenty of predators here trying to get in cages. Birds flying everywhere, yet none have dropped dead.

The proper thing to do is check each bird for signs of injury. If none are found, have a necropsy done.
