Can stress kill chickens

Not sure why I'm constantly contradicted..?...I only know what I know from experience or what my friends have gone through...Appoligies...

Have you or any of your friends had a necropsy that will back up your claims? If not, you have no way of knowing what killed them, right?

Chickens can have heart attacks, or heart disease, but it is *very* unlikely that one would lose four in one night to heart related problems.

Last reply.....If flighty Birds?...Yes, they feed of each other's fear and can drop dead....If laying on backs with legs strait out its heart in most cases...Anyways...My friend has lost flighty birds to a coyote attack that never got into the pen...Birds had heartattacks...

He has over 300 Birds....

This is not a heart attack issue. I have had birds very seriously stress and none died from fear alone. Barking up wrong tree increases odds of losses that are otherwise preventable.

I have heard of other birds dying of fright/heart failure, so I don't see why it couldn't happen to chickens.

It is unlikely to happen to four at the same time.
