I couldn't get humidity past 55% so I added two washcloths with water, and now it's 75%. Is this too much humidity for lockdown?

And, what happens if there's too much humidity during this time? I know during days 1-17, the aircell won't be able to enlarge enough, but unsure about days 18-21.

Thank you~!

75% is perfect for lockdown.

It is supposed ot go up to 75-80 from day 18-21... when the first chick hatches you need to reduce the humidity again.... if you use a styrofoam incubator... there should be "plugs" in the lid you pull out at that time.

Thank you tnchickenut and Lyz.

I read through that thread before, but re-read and found the answer. Thanks.
